From Small town Colorado to Kentucky

Matt and Kimbra Birchler

We both grew up in the same small rural town in SE Colorado, but never knew each other until we were adults.  A whirlwind love story and quick proposal led to a pair of newlyweds just a year later.  Our oldest daughter, diagnosed with a spinal defect prior to birth, shaped our faith and grew our marriage like we never expected.

Kimbra began the journey as a stay-at-home mom in 2003, caring for their daughter and navigating her needs.  To contribute to their financial needs and many surgeries, she began creating and making products to sell at local craft fairs and markets.  Often Matt would come home from a full day of work to a list of carpentry projects (no thanks to the popularity of Kimbra's newfound love of home design shows on TLC).

We welcomed 2 more children in the next 8 years and were totally surprised in 2013 to find we were expecting a fourth child even though I had my tubes tied the year before.  Four miracles that God knew would complete our family.

In 2015 , we opened our first brick and mortar shop in the Denver, CO area.  Matt left his 17+ year career in retail and together we saw our dream made a reality.  We worked together full time and began teaching classes of all kinds to students craving a creative outlet.  Before long we opened a second storefront and found ourselves in the kitchen remodeling business.  Painting cabinets became our passion after 4 years we decided to pursue that full time and closed our shops.

In 2023 after nearly 200 kitchen remodels, we packed up our family of 6 and moved nearly 24 hours east to Northern Kentucky.  Matt is now a Finish Fabricator for a large museum and outdoor attraction. Kimbra has found her love in creating again.  From business coaching, woodworking, marketing, social media management and creating new product lines to wholesale and market at local events.  God has blessed us with many talents and abilities and our hope is that we can glorify him in all we do and create.

We're glad you found us and we look forward to serving you.
